Went for a couples massage last week. My husband enjoyed his massage. I, however, had a therapist that used very inconsistent pressure and was unprofessional. It varied between ticklish to rough. I kept saying softer. At one point she pulled the sheet down to my feet, exposing my chest. The therapist giggled. At that point I wanted it to be over. I then repeatedly said just do my feet now. I’ve had Thai massages for years. This was not good. Will not be back.
I had a knot in my shoulder that even oam Sports Medicine could not take care of. I want to hear and did a deep tissue shoulder massage and I'm finally pain free! I would highly recommend!
I've gotten many massages over the year but this was by far the BEST massage I've ever had. We called last night and made an appointment for today and were seen right on time. The ladies were so friendly and honestly have magic hands. Will definitely be back!
Very good! Heavy language barrier so hard to communicate specific needs or questions but she has a translation all so I made it through it. I told them it was my first time doing anything like this a couple times and didn't get much response but they helped me figure it out nonetheless. The beds were clean and the massage was very thorough and considerate. Highly recommended. I told her that my lower back was sensitive and she moved around it. Very skilled. Extremely polite. The ambience and music could be improved but honestly those are small things to worry about when the massage is so good. I was sore the next day but during the experience it felt amazing. I definitely would give it a try if you suffer from muscle pain like I do. Thanks for the great experience.
Started our anniversary trip with Essential Massage with Anna and Mia and they were so good that we ended our anniversary trip at their sister business A & A (same owners, but one in Grand Haven, and one in Holland) with Anna again and Ya-Ya for my husband. Honestly, both times we walked out saying these were the best massages we’ve ever had. Both massages with all three technicians were on point. They all found all of the tight spots, muscle knots, and gave tension relief that was so good we had to come back all in the same week. Prices are very good as well. I highly recommend Anna, Mia & Ya-Ya but I’m sure any one of them would be amazing. They did speak some English, but Andy, who is also one of the owners was great at communicating with calling us back and translating for us. I would recommend going in with a translation app on your phone so you can be sure to tell them exactly what you want and need. I will say I’m much preferred the Holland location (A & A) as it felt like there was more space and air, more open. I will end this review saying if I could give them 10 stars I would and we will definitely be back next time we travel to Grand Haven or Holland. Thanks for the best massage ever!
